Ed Shalala attaches canvas thread to kites he flies over the grass of city parks. With a 35 mm camera he documents the resting shapes made by the threads as the kites come down to the ground. The resulting gelatin silver prints are exhibited at FiveMyles, in a show titled "wind blown canvas thread in NYC Park.
