Divine Generation
Installation and performance by Leah Ogawa in collaboration with John Tsung. 

Jindai Zakura ( 神代桜 ), translated as Divine Generations, is a legendary cherry tree in Japan that is roughly two thousand years old. This work meditates on the sedimentary nature of time and how movements in objects witness our human memories.
Music by John Tsung.

The performances will take place Saturday and Sunday, October 15 and 16, at 6:30pm.
