Mujeres Atrevidas (Bold Women) is a 10-minute short, bilingual documentary film made in 2022 about female delivery workers, construction workers and day laborers who have been impacted by the pandemic, and their fight for labor rights through their involvement with Workers Justice Project, a worker center based in Brooklyn which fights for better working conditions and social justice for low income, immigrant workers.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with artist Cynthia Tobar.
