Ann Rosen will be in conversation with Charlotta Kotik, the curator of Being Seen, Part II in the Plus/Space.
Presently, Charlotta Kotik works as a writer and independent curator and facilitates various projects for galleries, alternative spaces and museums alike.
During the course of her career, Kotik has organized over 100 museum exhibitions, presenting the work of artists such as Mariko Mori, Kerry James Marshall, John Cage, Jenny Holzer, Robert Longo, and Louise Bourgeois.
Ms. Kotik is a member of a number of national and international art organizations and is a co-chair of the Jindrich Chalupecky Award, an important recognition of young visiual artists in Czech Republic. She was also Chair and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum.
