Join us for a solo concert with Kuba Dworak, the internationally acclaimed classically trained jazz double bassist from Poland. With a foundation established in piano at six years old and transitioning to the double bass by thirteen, Kuba's performances have graced stages from Blue Note New York, through Copenhagen Jazz Festival, to Nine Gates International Jazz Festival. Drawing inspiration from collaborations with luminaries like Larry Grenadier, Jeff Ballard, David Binney, and Mark Turner, and enriched by three MA degrees from Poland and Switzerland—including one focused on the intersection of neuro-athletic training and bass performance—Kuba's music resonates with trust, empathy, and deep connectedness. Kuba also ventures into theater and art, notably with an Art Basel commission for William Kentridge.
