Karina Sharif is a multidisciplinary Paper Artist. She uses paper manipulation, sound and spatial design as a form of adornment and reverence for Black femmes of the diaspora.
Adorned Metallica serves as the first of many to what Sharif describes as multimedia liberation salons focused on world building and rest as healing for those within her work's constituency. Sharif's sculpted designs collaborate with and protect those they adorn. Each display serves as a celebration and moment to pause, rest and gaze upon her.
