Conceived and performed by Renegade Performance Group
Carrefour is an immersive performance experience taking an audience on a journey in Crown Heights, Brooklyn through film, sound/visual installations and movement. The title is translated from French meaning “crossroads”, and the work is built from cultural references of the longtime African-American/Caribbean residents of the neighborhood, speaking on the present-day narrative of this Brooklyn community dealing with gentrification and generational shifts as it moves forward.
This project is part of The AFROFUTURISM Series from Renegade Performance Group .
