Tuce yasak
Tuce Yasak is Artist in Residence in the Main Gallery June 28 - July 29, 2022.
Yasak creates with light. Her installation at FiveMyles explores the fine line between narcissism and self-love, self-indulgence and authenticity, freedom and emotional unavailability, loneliness and solitude.
The gallery space will be filled with lights and objects that have shaped these opposing states of mind in the artist’s life.
July 22 at 7pm: There will be a reception with a performance by the artist.
July 29 from 7-10 pm: A closing party with happening acts by several invited artists will take place.

DIRECTIONS:
Take 2, 3, or 4 trains to Franklin Avenue. Walk two blocks against the traffic on Franklin. Walk ¾ block to 558 St. Johns Place. FiveMyles is within easy walking distance from the Brooklyn Museum.
