about the artist:
Maura Sheehan is an installation artist and educator who experiments with a wide variety of materials that result in environments or sculptures. She has exhibited locally and in Ireland, Spain, Iceland. where she complements her art practice by hosting community art programs that are focused on the local children as a way of making her work more accessible and relevant to the wider community.
DIRECTIONS:
Take 2, 3, or 4 trains to Franklin Avenue. Walk two blocks against the traffic on Franklin. Walk ¾ block to 558 St. Johns Place. FiveMyles is within easy walking distance from the Brooklyn Museum.
