Summer Residency Supporting Material

1) July 16 - August 30, 2020: “Lost Voyage” residency, with painter Jo Wood-Brown and dancer Miriam Parker, exploring the themes of migration, home, and memory in an evolving installation and performance piece.

One of the performances taking place during the residency featured Miriam Parker (standing with the vase), sound artist Merche Blasco (front), and multimedia artist Jean-Carla Rodea.

The artists experimented with different materials, including emergency blankets, different vessels and vases, reflective surfaces, sound, and mouvement.

The entire 1,500sq.ft. main gallery was used during the residency, and the work shifted over the course of the 7 weeks.
