Fragments, a performance by Scoop Slone

Fragments is an experimental Butoh Opera work in progress that combines avant-garde costume and installation with ritualization, vocalization, and Butoh. Inspired by primal futurism, archaeology, and high art drag, Fragments can be likened to a Carmina Burana, which in its original form combined gymnastic movement with sung text. Scoop weaves an abstract mythology of Geometrica 222, their alterego, to tell a story about basic humanity which connects us amidst our differences.

Doors at 6:45 performance begins at 7:10. Performance will run 30-40 Minutes.
